Who Are We
Supportive Housing of Waterloo was founded by thirteen churches and faith groups in Waterloo, and born out of the need to address the growing homelessness crisis in Waterloo Region, as seen through the increasing need for emergency shelters such as Out of the Cold.
" Our project will ease the strain on the Out of the Cold program by designing, building, and operating a 30-unit one bed room apartment building. We intend to produce a beautiful, well-designed, supportive home for 30 members of our community. We are committed to a project that not only the tenants but the neighbours, the city, and our region can point to with pride."
Tricia Siemens, President
